Laura with the Aura

That’s what my work colleagues used to call me when I worked at Apple….don’t ask my why! But it seems appropriate to my life now. We visited Don and Carol over the weekend and Carol and I went to a bead show and went a little bit crazy buying beads. I ended up buying as much there as I bought at Quartzsite. The cool thing about that is I got a lot of new kinds of stones and I’m on the way to making a bunch of new bracelets and extending the product line. It’s so fun! In fact, I couldn’t sleep last night for thinking about beads and bracelets….

The other cool thing that happened is that we played around with Carol’s new aura camera, which hooks up to a computer and gives you a real-time image of your aura. I’ve never seen one in person before and it was really fascinating. We ended up testing my bracelets and Carol’s HP to see how they changed a person’s aura and it was very easy to see the effects of both. Carol has generously offered to do some video recordings of how some of my different bracelets change the aura, and I’ll be able to post those on my website in the near future. I think it will really help people to understand how the human energy system works, and how orgonite and gemstones help the energy system.

Carol also gave me a Cards of Destiny book so I can do readings on folks I coach and those who order bracelets. It’s a fascinating system with a bit of a learning curve but I’m looking forward to doing readings. If you’re thinking about buying a bracelet and want a reading, just email me and include your birthdate.

Stay tuned for more bracelets!

Getting back into essential oils

Years ago I got really into using essential oils and I made all sorts of concoctions and gave them out to my family and friends. With life getting too busy I forgot about using them, although I always have lavender, tea tree and peppermint in my pharmacy. I have healed more wounds with tea tree and lavender than I can count. I gave a friend some tea tree for a cut on her foot that wouldn’t heal, and overnight the wound started granulating and the infection receded. I’ve used lavendar for skin healing and for getting rid of scars, even old ones. In 2003 we bought about 100 small vials of essential oil blends from Michel Zayat and are still using many of them.

I recently got interested again while putting together a chest rub that’s good for coughing, and suddenly I was in a frenzy of making a face cleaner/toner, face moisturizer, digestion formula and liver tonic. I have a great book by Julia Lawless called “The Complete Illustrated Guide to Aromatherapy,” and it gives all kinds of suggestions for all kinds of physical ailments. I also have a half dozen other books of herbal recipes for creams, lotions, perfumes, shampoo and even making soap and candles. It’s a bit of work, but it’s really the only way to get products that don’t have a lot of chemical junk in them, unless you know someone who makes things from scratch. Even the cleanest products in the best health food store have some bad ingredients. So now I’m all fired up to improve my herb garden and start making infusions and extractions and all sorts of stuff from herbs that I grow myself. I’m actually a frustrated Earth Mother, and someday I’ll be a great gardener.

This is the time of year I have to think about starting some plants so that they are big enough to put in the garden in early June. It doesn’t get warm enough here to transplant to the outdoors much before that, and fall sets in the beginning of September, so the short growing season is a challenge. We’ve investigated greenhouses and might invest in one someday. Wish me luck this season!

My crystal helpers

helpers1These are the crystals I use regularly while coaching folks. I use the lapis sphere and the Herkimer diamond for clearing and psychic vision. Herkimer also increases the energy of all other stones. As I’m working on someone’s chakras, I pick up a stone appropriate for that chakra. I use carnelian for first and second chakras, yellow quartz for the third chakra, peridot and pink tourmaline for the 4th and unconditional love (4-1/2) chakras, aquamarine for the 5th chakra, sodalite for the 6th chakra and a cool amethyst dodec for the 7th chakra. I also have celestite for checking the aura, danburite for removing entities, ametrine for cutting cords, bloodstone for healing and a lemurian for extra oomph. :-) That cool-looking green device in the back of the pic is a Cesco invention that works great for healing.

helpers2Here are some of my other helpers…Stevo and I have several caches of stones scattered around the house that we can pick up any time we need a little help. Sometimes I will make a pile of stones on top of a Post-It note that has someone’s name on it…kind of a crude radionics effect for helping someone who is being particularly hassled. It seems to help, based on the feedback I get. Many times I have picked a stone that turns out to be that person’s favorite stone. I’ve gotten so used to communicating with the stones that I don’t even really think about it anymore. I just reach for the stone that seems to be the right one. I do have several spheres, a couple of eggs and two dodecs, but most of my stones are rough pieces or small tumbled pieces. They don’t have to be big and expensive to work. I’m still learning a lot about crystals and what each one does…I’m sure I’ll be learning the rest of my life. I encourage the people I coach to get stones and work with them, too.

This weekend I’ll be at a bead show with Carol to pick up stuff I couldn’t find at Quartzsite. I have to make sure I take my grounding bracelet to deal with the energy of a lot of gemstones in one place! Can’t wait…. :-)

Back in the saddle

I haven’t blogged for a few weeks because my computer died and I was using an old Windows laptop (yikes!) just to do the basics of email and coaching. Now I’ve got my sexy new Mac laptop (yay!) and I have to say there is a part of me that’s a bit in love with technology. In other ways, I’m a bit of a Luddite, but Stevo recently bought me an iPod Touch, too, and I just love it. Now I’ve got this new laptop that I have to buy adapter cables for so it will hook up to my old 23″ monitor, so I can still do website work and photo work. In the meantime, I’ve been upgrading all my software on the new Mac so that I can do all the things I’m used to doing. So finally today I could take a breather and think about blogging.

I’ve had a lot of fun with my coaching lately, and I’m working with a couple of people on a regular basis who are really interested in developing their abilities. It’s really fun for me to have more than one coaching session with a person, because even though I don’t know what they look like and don’t know a lot about them, when we’re in the chat together it’s like meeting with a good friend because I am familiar with their energy.

It’s always amazing to me that no matter who I’m working on, what country they are from, what language, race, religion, gender, etc., they are all energetic beings and therefore are very similar. Everyone’s energy system is designed the same way, just like human bodies are all designed the same. We really are just one race….

Worldwide exercises

I just got another request to translate one of my exercises to another language. So far I’ve been translated into Spanish, French and now Portugese. I’m really glad when people ask me if it’s okay that they do this. It’s great to know that non-English speakers will have a chance to try the etheric exercises. I don’t necessarily need to be asked, but it’s nice when people do and they let me know that they’re giving the appropriate credit. I’m not worried so much about getting credit for myself, but I’ve had other people that I credit on my site, and I’d like them to have the credit too. I’ve gotten some really nice emails from people and it’s nice to know that there are so many awakened souls out there! :-)

The ebb and flow

The ebb is that my computer decided to die yesterday. It’s only a dead power supply and luckily not a motherboard, but since my computer is 7 years old (gasp!) it’s considered “vintage” and the power supply costs big. Not as much as buying a new computer though. :-) The good thing is that it didn’t die until after I completed my website updates and Paypal button install.

The flow part of the equation is that my business has already increased, and I can still do email and business by using an old Windows laptop that my mom donated to me. I don’t normally do Windows, being a Mac kind of girl and former Apple employee, but it’s working out pretty well.

I was standing at the gas station yesterday filling up the car and trying not to breathe in the gas fumes and I was people-watching. It occured to me, as it sometimes does, that we live in a beautiful world, and people are just amazing. Here are these magnificent beings walking around and they don’t even know how powerful they are. But most of them would drop everything to help someone in trouble and most of them are doing their best to get along in this crazy world.

This kind of feeling ebbs and flows in me, depending on how well I’m paying attention to my energy. When I’m doing my work and keeping my space clear, etc., I can really appreciate other people. When I’m not feeling good and being lazy about doing my energy work, I get impatient and short-tempered with the rest of the world. I’ve been working on letting it flow on all levels…business, personal, world view. It takes constant attention but it’s worth it. What an incredible world!

Have credit card? Can order!

I finally caved in and put Paypal buttons on my website so you can now pay for coaching and bracelets with your credit card immediately. I swore I would never use Paypal, but after exploring the alternatives and getting nowhere, I signed up for Paypal and started getting orders the next day. I guess I’ll have to put a lot of good energy around my Paypal account so I don’t have any problems. I felt it was time to make it more convenient for my clients to pay for my goods and services.

Enjoy!

Life with sylphs

bigsylphThis is the kind of sylph we regularly see over our house. This one just kept getting bigger and bigger and it was beautiful. We tend to get a lot of sylphs over our neighborhood while the rest of the valley doesn’t get so many. We have a lot of orgonite on our property as well as three CB’s. We also tend to have a blue hole over our area when the rest of the valley is overcast. Just one of the benefits of knowing about orgonite. We still get the occasional chemtrail, and sometimes three or four, but you can tell it’s a really half-hearted effort and they rarely stick. We hardly ever get HAARPy clouds and those will disappear for good once our mountain tops are gifted by the Etheric Air Force (Don). :-)

A coaching high

I had a great coaching experience this morning with a client who is very psychic and was easy to work with. We worked on accessing the higher dimensions and that is really a lot of fun. It made me miss the group chats, which I haven’t been participating in for about a year. I have found that I’ve needed to focus my energy on getting healthy and coaching people so I haven’t had a lot left over for group chats. The groups chatters do really important work, though, and we all benefit from what they do. The individual coaching I do tends to uplift my energy, so it has sustained me this whole time I’ve been working to get healthy. I’m really grateful that I’m able to do this work. It’s feels good to help someone on their path.

I was working on someone the other day and tried using that Golden Lemurian that we got in Arizona. It was an interesting experience because I couldn’t quite connect with it fully, but that may have been because I was distracted. I’m looking forward to using it more when I work on people. Some folks call it a Radiant Heart stone. It’s definitely that!

Anyway, if you feel up to it and have some time, try the exercise for accessing higher dimensions. It tends to put things in perspective and gives you a lot of good energy to work with.

Blown away at Quartzsite

We just got back from our trip to Quartzsite, Arizona, where we went to the annual rock and crystal show. I stocked up on an amazing variety of beads for my bracelets and I still have more to buy since I didn’t find everything I need. I was buzzing the whole time from the energy of all those crystals, and it didn’t seem to matter that I wasn’t sleeping well and I was fighting off a cold. The rocks kept me going! The best score of the whole trip was this Golden Lemurian cluster that Carol spotted at one of the vendor tents. smalllemuShe had her eye on a second, larger cluster and she thought Stevo and I would enjoy this one. We made the vendors day when we went back and bought both of them. If you look up Golden Lemurians on the internet you can read about where they come from (Brazil) and their special metaphysical properties. Stevo and I (especially Stevo) have a strong connection to the Lemurians, and we couldn’t walk away from this find.

I had wanted to blog during our trip but didn’t count on the fact that we’d be getting up early each day to get a parking spot at the show so we wouldn’t have to walk a few miles to get to the vendors. We took the dogs with us and they got a lot of attention and were very well-behaved. I just unpacked all my beads last night and put them away in the tackle boxes. I’m really excited about making more bracelets! As it is, I’ll be visiting Carol in a few weeks to go to the bead shop she uses and fill in what I coudn’t find at Quartzsite.

It was interesting to see what crystals were popular this year. There was a lot of Purple Flourite, Amazonite and Danburite. Carol found one lady who had a bunch of Stibnite and Danburite for really good prices, so we got several chunks of each. The beads are fun to shop for, the but big chunks of rock are really special. We barely had room to bring home all of our goodies.

Next year, we agreed we’ll go to Tuscon, which is where most of the gem dealers go. The shows are all in hotels and there will be a lot more quantity and variety of beads to choose from as well as more polished beauty pieces. I get a buzz every time I look at that Golden Lemurian cluster, which is currently sitting on our coffee table. It’s permanent home might be out in Steve’s office since it’s a healing stone. I told Stevo when we left for the trip that I felt we would find something special. We almost didn’t go because he was getting sick, I was afraid of getting sick, it was snowing like crazy and I had this irrational fear of leaving home. I think now that someone didn’t want us to find this Lemurian. We exercised our bravery muscles and left home (difficult for two cancer crabs) and had a great time!
